During his 20 years of coaching, his career record was 233-194—12 winning seasons, 10 teams qualified for district, 3 teams qualified for state. Was league champion 6 times, district champion 3 times, state champion 1 time. Tom also was a head football coach for 2 years and assistant for 13 years, head baseball coach for 17 years. In Tom’s 31 years of teaching, he was at Waitsburg for 2 and 29 years at Chehalis.
Tom and his wife Peggy, have five children: Robyn, Greg, Carole, Janet and Tim.
