Norm Goldstein

Coach Goldstein spent twenty-one years coaching Washington prep and collegiate basketball players. During his tenure Coach Goldstein spent sixteen years at Ballard High School (nine as Head Coach and seven as an Assistant). From there Coach Goldstein journeyed to the Land of the Tritons, Edmonds Community College. Coach Goldstein was the charter Head Coach at Edmonds where he stayed for five seasons. At Ballard High Goldstein compiled an impressive 132-27 record which translates to a .830 winning percentage. His ’59-60, ’61’-62, and ’66-67 squads each won the City Divisional Championships. Goldstein’s Ballard Beavers also finished second twice, and finished state runners-up in the 1960-61 State Tournament. Coach Goldstein never had a. losing record at Ballard High! He then skippered the Edmonds Tritons tor five seasons. Norm Goldstein is a. graduate of the University of Washington. Norm, and his wife Dorothy have two children, Becky and Steve.
